MeroLab is founded and led by an experienced laboratory professional with more than 10 years of hands-on experience in clinical, molecular, and public-health laboratories. This long-term experience allows us to combine strong technical skills with real-world clinical practice, research understanding, and a deep commitment to public health. Our work is guided by accuracy, responsibility, and continuous learning, ensuring that laboratory services and knowledge are reliable, practical, and trustworthy.

Our Background & Expertise

The founder of MeroLab holds a Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (CMLT), a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Microbiology. This strong academic foundation is complemented by over 10 years of hands-on experience across a wide range of diagnostic and research laboratories.

The founder has worked extensively in phlebotomy, hematology, clinical biochemistry, microbiology, parasitology, immunology, serology, histopathology, cytology, molecular biology, virology, tuberculosis diagnostics, and leprosy hospital laboratory services. In addition to providing diagnostic services, the founder has been actively involved in teaching, field research, and laboratory capacity building, helping to develop skilled laboratory professionals and improve diagnostic systems.

Diverse Institutional Experience:

MeroLab’s expertise is further strengthened by work in a variety of healthcare and laboratory settings, including international children’s hospitals, community-based hospitals, reference and specialized laboratories, Cancer HospitalPhect Nepal-Kathmandu Model Hospital, remote-area hospitals, Provincial Public Health LaboratoriesNational Public Health Laboratorie (NPHL), and health centers under the United Nations International Organization for Migration (UN-IOM). This wide-ranging experience gives MeroLab a deep understanding of laboratory challenges at local, national, and international levels.
